High Tea is often called Afternoon Tea, but traditionally, they are two different experiences. Historically, High Tea was held closer to dinner time and included a more substantial meal. In contrast, Afternoon Tea was served earlier in the afternoon with small pastries and savory items, such as tea sandwiches.

Both experiences feature tea as the primary beverage. Today, High Tea is commonly associated with Afternoon Tea, so we also refer to Lady Jayne’s Traveling Experiences as High Tea.

Dressing up is part of the fun of a High Tea experience! While not mandatory, we encourage guests to wear hats and fascinators to enhance the occasion.

Guests are welcome to bring their accessories or choose from our large selection available during the event. Your attire may also depend on the season, type of event, and location.
